Charges
These charges are valid for all bookings that take place from 1 January 2025.
Hire Charges
We operate a standard hourly rate, with a minimum hire period of 1 hour. After 1 hour bookings will be charge pro-rata in increments of 15 minutes. Set-up/clear-up time of 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after each booking are included free of charge.

- Discounts of 10% will be applied for hires 4-5.75 hours in length, and 20% for hires 6+ hours in length.
- Weekdays only. Private Users rates will apply on weekends.
- A refundable deposit of £50 or £100 will be required within 14 days of making the booking to secure the booking. The full hire fee will be required at least 14 days before the booking date.
- Invoiced quarterly in arrears.
- invoiced monthly in arrears.
- Invoiced in arrears, after each booking.
Additional Items for Hire
The following items/resources are available to use at an additional cost (per hire period):
- Projector: £5
- BluRay player: £5
- Microphones (handheld): £5
- Children’s toys* (e.g. for birthday parties): £10
Groups
Our charging structure is based around four categories of hirer.
- Village Groups (as set out in our Trust Deed) are recognised local groups/organisations* which attract preferential rates.
- Regular Users are private individuals, commercial users (e.g. classes) or other users who use the hall on a regular basis, usually weekly, which attract a reduced hourly weekday rate only.
- Private Users are private individuals, commercial users or other users who use the hall on a irregular or one-off basis.
- Local Government include Local Authority, County or District government users, who use the hall as a polling station, for example.
