Offord Village Hall is well-equipped for hosting a wide range of events, parties and educational activities. It is licensed by Huntingdonshire District Council for a range of activities including, film and drama shows, parties and other social events. It is not licensed for the sale of alcohol although this can be arranged through a Temporary Entertainment Notice. The hall holds a music licence from PRS/PPL.
An Emergency Defibrillator is housed in a yellow cabinet at the front of the hall, adjacent to the main entrance.
The hall comprises an entrance foyer, a large main hall with a small stage with curtains, a well-equipped modern kitchen with servery, a separate small bar, and a committee room with its own facilities. There is also an adjacent car park as well as small grassed area.
The hall has disabled access and facilities, and a hearing loop. There are also baby changing facilities.
The main hall can accommodate up to 100 people seated in theatre style and 80 in cabaret style. Cushioned seats are provided and there are a range of trestle tables available.
The kitchen is equipped with a (modern catering standard gas cooker, Hobart catering dishwasher, large American-style refrigerator, microwave, water boiler, stainless steel food trolley, food preparation areas and separate sinks). There is a wide range of crockery, cutlery and glassware available.
Heating is provided by gas central heating with the main boiler located in the kitchen and separate thermostat controls in the hall. Extractor fan controls are also in the kitchen as are the main lighting controls (including for dimmable and limited stage lighting).
Wifi internet access is available in the building. There is an electric-powered drop-down screen in the main hall.
